Publicly-listed fuel distributor and retailer Top Line Business Development Corp. (TOP) has partnered with Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc. (Robinsons Retail), naming Uncle John’s, its convenience store brand, as the anchor tenant for all Tier 1 Light Fuels stations.
Under the partnership, Uncle John’s stores will be integrated into TOP’s full-service Tier 1 Light Fuels stations, enhancing customer convenience while expected to strengthen the Company’s non-fuel revenue streams through commercial leasing.
“Our partnership with Robinsons Retail elevates the Light Fuels experience by combining mobility and everyday convenience in one location. Having Uncle John’s as our anchor tenant strengthens customer traffic across our stations while allowing us to diversify revenue through non-fuel sales and leasing income. This supports our strategy of building service-oriented stations that generate multiple income streams,” said Eugene Erik Lapasaran Lim, Chairman, President, and CEO of TOP.
For Uncle John’s, the expansion allows their brand to reach more high-traffic corridors and community hubs, bringing its signature ready-to-eat meals and everyday value offers closer to provincial consumers.
“Many of our stations are located in underserved areas in the provinces. Through this collaboration, we are making everyday essentials, both fuel and convenience retail, more accessible to consumers across Visayas,” Mr. Lim added.
Tier 1 Light Fuels stations are full-service sites designed with dedicated commercial spaces that accommodate convenience stores, food operators, and other retail tenants. These stations are positioned along key transport routes and high-traffic areas, enabling both fuel and non-fuel businesses to benefit from steady customer flow.
TOP currently operates a total of 18 service stations and 32 more are undergoing construction/renovation, which are expected to be completed in phases by the end of 2026. The rollout of Uncle John’s across these stations is expected to be implemented progressively as sites become operational.
