PEZA welcomes Tradam Import-Export Corp. to boost ecozone supply chain resilience

The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) continues to fortify the country’s manufacturing backbone with the official registration of Tradam Import-Export Corporation as its newest Ecozone Logistics Service Enterprise (ELSE).

The Registration Agreement was signed on April 13, 2026, at the PEZA Head Office by Director General Tereso O. Panga and Tradam President Gregorio Apollo B. Isidro.

With a project investment exceeding PhP 20 million, Tradam is set to establish a state-of-the-art warehouse and logistics facility at the Carmelray Industrial Park II – Special Economic Zone (CIP II-SEZ) in Laguna.

Tradam’s operations will serve as a vital support hub within the ecozone supply chain, focusing on:

  • Strategic Sourcing: Procuring essential equipment and consumables.

  • Specialized Warehousing: Secure storage for industrial chemicals and high-value goods.

  • Repacking & Distribution: Streamlining the delivery of critical inputs to export-oriented manufacturers.

By handling the storage and repacking of imported goods prior to local redistribution, Tradam aims to significantly reduce turnaround times and operational bottlenecks for PEZA-registered firms. This allows manufacturers to outsource complex inventory management and focus exclusively on their core production processes.

“Amid continuing uncertainties in global trade and logistics, this project comes at a timely moment,” said PEZA Director General Tereso Panga. “Tradam’s entry as an ELSE reinforces the backbone of our manufacturing sector by ensuring the efficient flow of inputs. This allows our locators to remain competitive, agile, and better integrated into the global value chain.”

As an ELSE-registered firm, Tradam is expected to enhance the overall reliability of the regional supply chain. The facility is positioned to cater specifically to high-value sectors that require “just-in-time” delivery of inputs, ensuring that Philippine-based exporters can meet the rigorous demands of the international market without disruption.
