TRB approves toll collection for final segment of CAVITEX C5 Link starting May 5, 2026

The Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) has approved the implementation of toll collection for the final segment of the CAVITEX C5 Link, with collections set to begin on May 5, 2026.

Since its opening on March 30, 2026, Segment 3B has been offering free access to motorists, benefiting an average of nearly 9,000 vehicles ყოველდღ. This final segment completes the vital connection between the Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX) and C5 Road in Taguig City, significantly improving travel efficiency in the region.

With the full opening of the CAVITEX C5 Link, travel time between key points has been drastically reduced—from approximately one and a half hours to just 15 minutes—providing a faster and more convenient route for motorists.

Beginning May 5, the following toll rates will apply for motorists traveling between Taguig and Sucat Road (Dr. A. Santos Avenue), or vice versa:

  • Class 1: P59
  • Class 2: P117
  • Class 3: P176

For motorists traveling from Taguig directly to Roxas Boulevard or Zapote, the toll rates will be:

  • Class 1: P97
  • Class 2: P194
  • Class 3: P291

All rates are inclusive of Segment 3B charges.

The fully operational CAVITEX C5 Link enhances connectivity by providing direct access to key routes, including the R1 Expressway (Coastal Road), Sucat Road, and C.P. Garcia Avenue. It also improves access to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), making travel more seamless for both private and commercial vehicles.

Beyond convenience, the expressway strengthens the logistics corridor between industrial zones in Cavite and major commercial centers in Metro Manila, supporting economic activity and regional growth. It also serves as an alternative route for heavy vehicles, helping to decongest major thoroughfares across Cavite and southern Metro Manila.

The TRB and project stakeholders encourage motorists to plan their trips accordingly and ensure sufficient balance in their toll accounts ahead of the implementation date.
