Commissioner Nepomuceno commends BOC Ports for surpassing revenue targets

Bureau of Customs (BOC) Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno commended several collection districts for exceeding their revenue targets from January to April 2026, reflecting the Bureau’s sustained commitment to revenue generation, trade facilitation, and operational efficiency in line with President Ferdinand R. Among the ports that surpassed their cumulative revenue targets for the January to April 2026 period were the Manila International Container Port (MICP) (PHP78.994 billion); Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) (PHP16.292 billion); Port of Batangas (PHP79.615 billion); Port of Legaspi (PHP1.232 billion); Port of Iloilo (PHP1.447 billion); Port of Cebu (PHP16.473 billion); Port of Tacloban (PHP1.766 billion); Port of Surigao (PHP335 million); Port of Cagayan de Oro (PHP15.750 billion); Port of Davao (PHP17.730); Port of Subic (PHP19.683); Port of Clark (PHP1.822); and Port of Aparri (PHP592 million).

Commissioner Nepomuceno emphasized that the accomplishments of the ports reflect not only strong collection performance but also the discipline, teamwork, and dedication of the men and women of the Bureau in carrying out their mandate to serve the Filipino people.
“The accomplishments we are seeing today are the result of the hard work, discipline, and sacrifices of our men and women in all 17 ports across the country. I extend my sincerest gratitude to every customs personnel who continues to serve with integrity and dedication despite the challenges of the job,” Commissioner Nepomuceno said.
“To the ports that exceeded their targets, congratulations on your outstanding performance. Your achievements inspire the entire Bureau to strive harder and perform better. More importantly, I thank all our collection districts—not only those who surpassed their goals—for their collective contribution in helping the Bureau achieve its overall revenue objectives. Every effort matters, and every port plays a vital role in nation-building,” he added.
Commissioner Nepomuceno likewise encouraged all collection districts to sustain the momentum and continue strengthening collection efficiency, lawful trade facilitation, and institutional reforms under the Bureau’s Integrity, Accountability, and Modernization (IAM) agenda. He emphasized that through the IAM agenda, the Bureau aims to further enhance transparency, improve public service delivery, modernize customs processes, and uphold accountability across all ports in support of the government’s economic agenda and commitment to quality public service.
