Roble Shipping launches first brand-new RORO passenger vessel, M/V Mother Immaculate Stars

Roble Shipping Inc., the leading ferry operator connecting Cebu and Leyte, officially marked a historic milestone with the successful launch of its first-ever, brand-new Roll-on/Roll-off (RORO) passenger vessel, M/V Mother Immaculate Stars.

The state-of-the-art vessel was custom-built and launched at the Taizhou Hongtai Shipyard Industry Co. Ltd. in Taizhou, China, signaling a new era of modernized, safer, and more comfortable maritime travel for the Philippine domestic shipping industry.

The M/V Mother Immaculate Stars represents a significant upgrade in Roble Shipping’s fleet capabilities, combining impressive capacity with strict international safety standards.

  • Dimensions: 95 meters in length and 20 meters in width.

  • Tonnage & Capacity: Listed gross tonnage of 6,483 tons with a Deadweight Tonnage (DWT) of 1,700.

  • Classification: Registered under the Registro Italiano Navale (RINA) of Italy, an International Association of Classification Societies (IACS) member, ensuring top-tier structural and operational integrity.
