DTI showcases local, Halal, and coconut-based cosmetics at Cosmobeauté Philippines

In an effort to boost the global competitiveness and market reach of Filipino micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the beauty, personal care, and wellness sectors, the Department of Trade and Industry officially opened the DTI-Bagong Pilipinas Pavilion at Cosmobeaute Philippines 2026. The event will run from June 17 to 19, 2026 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

The pavilion features a curated roster of local exhibitors representing the country’s rapidly growing personal care, skincare, cosmetics, fragrance, organic beauty, and health industries. The featured entrepreneurs hail from various provinces across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

A major highlight of this showcase is the dedicated feature on coconut-based cosmetic and wellness products supported under the Coconut Farming and Industry Development Plan (CFIDP). Recognizing the global shift toward sustainable and natural ingredients, the CFIDP segment spotlights innovative local creators utilizing Philippine coconut derivatives for high-value skincare and beauty items.

In response to growing domestic and international demand for ethical consumerism, as well as reflecting DTI’s active strategy to position the Philippines as a premier source of global Halal-compliant goods, the pavilion also prominently features Halal-certified beauty and wellness products. These items cater to conscious consumers seeking premium personal care solutions that strictly adhere to halal lifestyle values, purity, and quality manufacturing standards.

Powered by Cosmoprof Asia, Cosmobeauté Philippines stands as the country’s premiere business-to-business (B2B) trade exhibition. It provides a strategic international platform for commercial partnerships, product sourcing, and corporate networking. Through this targeted event, the DTI aims to connect local creators directly with major international buyers, distributors, and investors from around the world.

To sustain this growth, DTI Secretary Ma. Cristina A. Roque focuses on keeping MSMEs a top priority in her development agenda. This helps introduce local brands into major international B2B trade shows, enabling regional small businesses to become export-ready.

The DTI’s participation is also championed by the Competitiveness and Innovation Group (CIG), headed by Assistant Secretary and Supervising Head Nylah Rizza D. Bautista. The project was executed through the Bureau of Market Development, Promotions and OTOP (BMDPO), in close cooperation with the Export Marketing Bureau (EMB).

Trade buyers, investors, and the general public are invited to visit the DTI-Bagong Pilipinas Pavilion throughout the three-day event. For inquiries, interested buyers may contact the DTI through the BMDPO-OTOP office or their respective DTI Regional Offices.
