Montenegro Shipping Lines Incorporated (MSLI) has announced the deployment of its newly drydocked vessel, M/V Maria Xenia, to permanently serve the Lucena – San Agustin – Romblon, Romblon route (and vice versa) starting June 27, 2026.
Previously assigned to the Batangas-Odiongan route, M/V Maria Xenia recently underwent extensive drydocking and maintenance to ensure peak performance, safety, and passenger comfort. She joins her fleetmates, M/V Maria Oliva and M/V Reina Timotea, to significantly boost maritime connectivity and frequency between Quezon province and the Romblon archipelago.
The vessel is scheduled for its maiden voyage on this new route, departing the Port of Lucena at 4:00 PM, with an expected arrival at the Port of San Agustin at 12:00 MN on Sunday, June 28, 2026.
In line with this route expansion, Montenegro Shipping Lines has released its updated passenger tariff, effective June 22, 2026. Fares vary by distance and sector, with mandatory discounts applied for students, senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and children (half fare).
