ACMobility expands mobile EV charging solution to support enterprises

ACMobility, the Ayala Group’s end-to-end mobility platform and a leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions in the Philippines, is expanding its mobile charging service, Power-on-Wheels (POW), to support the immediate mobility needs of enterprises—without requiring significant upfront investment or permanent infrastructure.

POW is designed to provide on-demand EV charging directly to fleets, depots, offices, and event venues, helping businesses maintain productivity and operational efficiency without relying solely on fixed charging stations.

With its mobile, location-based charging capability, POW enables enterprises to accelerate their transition to electric mobility while ensuring uninterrupted operations.

“With Power-on-Wheels, we are extending EV charging beyond fixed infrastructure to meet businesses where they operate,” said Carla Buencamino, Head of Mobility Infrastructure at ACMobility. “This enables a more flexible and resilient charging ecosystem that supports the operational realities of enterprise mobility today while preparing businesses for future growth.”

Built on a fully mobile and scalable model, POW supports a wide range of enterprise applications across various industries.

For residential and condominium developers, POW provides EV charging access for residents and their guests. Offices and commercial buildings can offer convenient charging for tenants, employees, and visitors without installing permanent charging infrastructure.

Fleet operators can use POW to ensure consistent vehicle uptime and operational efficiency through scheduled or on-site charging services. Meanwhile, customer-facing businesses—including dealerships, retail spaces, and event activations—can deploy temporary or event-based charging to enhance the customer experience and promote EV adoption.

Innovative mobile charging solutions such as POW play a critical role in addressing gaps in the country’s EV infrastructure as electric vehicle adoption continues to accelerate. Growing consumer demand, evolving sustainability goals, and the need for more efficient mobility solutions are driving this shift.

Despite the increasing number of businesses transitioning to EVs, many still face limited access to reliable charging infrastructure to support their daily operations.

As of April, ACMobility operates more than 200 EV charging hubs and over 500 charge points nationwide. The company aims to expand its network to 1,000 charge points by the end of the year.

Through POW, ACMobility brings EV charging directly to businesses for immediate deployment—eliminating the need for major capital investment or construction. Enterprises can choose between monthly and annual service contracts, with each package including a dedicated mobile coordinator and emergency roadside assistance to address charging-related concerns.

POW supports both battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and select plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) through DC fast charging. Each mobile charging unit has a capacity of up to 120 kWh and is compatible with CCS2 and GB/T connectors.

POW’s enterprise charging solutions are now available across Metro Manila, parts of Southern Luzon—including Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal—as well as Bulacan and Pampanga in Northern Luzon.

Through the Philippine EV Spine—ACMobility’s nationwide EV charging network—the Ayala-owned company now serves more than 78,000 users across the country.
