Archipelago Philippine Ferries Corporation officially launched its Maasin-Surigao route with the maiden voyage of MV FastCat M17, augmenting connectivity between Visayas and Mindanao islands.
Launched on February 15, MV FastCat M17 will connect Maasin City, Leyte and Surigao City, and vice versa on a daily basis with the following schedule:
Surigao City – Maasin City, Southern Leyte: 1:00 AM and 1:00 PM
Maasin City, Southern Leyte – Surigao City: 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM
Passenger fares are as follows:
Economy: PHP580.00
Premium Economy: PHP640.00
Business Class: PHP700.00
The new route is expected to further strengthen inter-island connectivity between Leyte and Surigao, offering passengers a faster and more convenient sea travel option.
