UPS Philippines and Delbros Group continued to support the Philippine Air Force a donation of a state-of-the-art mechanized conveyor belt system to Clark Air Base, a move that underscores their long-standing partnership and dedication to strengthening logistical efficiency in the country.
The system, previously utilized by the UPS Clark Hub, has since been turned over to the Philippine Air Force (PAF) at Clark Air Base to help streamline cargo handling operations. The conveyor belt enhances the Air Base’s capability to manage logistical flows with greater ease and speed, contributing to the smooth and timely transport of essential supplies and materials.
This initiative forms part of UPS Philippines’ ongoing global and local efforts to reinforce infrastructure that supports trade, operational efficiency, and community resilience. By supporting the logistics capabilities of institutions such as the Philippine Air Force, UPS Delbros continues to champion the value of efficient, reliable, and responsive logistical systems — a hallmark of the company’s mission to move the world forward.
“We are deeply grateful for the Philippine Air Force’s commitment to protecting our country, and that is the major motivation behind this donation,” said Jose Paolo Delgado, President and CEO of Delbros Group. “We truly believe that this automated conveyor system will be a great fit for your goals and operations, making it easier, faster, more convenient, and more efficient to load your planes with essential supplies, tools, and people.”
The conveyor system, which previously sorted and loaded more than a thousand packages per hour, has proven its durability and reliability throughout years of UPS operations. Now serving the needs of Clark Air Base, the system continues to demonstrate how private sector partnerships can provide tangible, lasting benefits to public service and national operations.
Shared growth
The collaboration between UPS and the Delbros Group remains one of the few global joint ventures uniting an international logistics leader with a local partner — a testament to sustained collaboration and mutual growth. Since establishing the UPS Asian hub in the Philippines in 1999, this partnership has continuously driven advancements in the country’s logistics landscape, reinforcing the Philippines’ role as a vital player in regional trade.
As UPS Delbros expands its operations and invests in local infrastructure — including increased operational flights targeted by 2028 — its focus remains on enabling trade and strengthening communities through innovation and collaboration.
Local impact
While the donation to Clark Air Base directly supports the Philippine Air Force’s logistical operations, it also reflects UPS Philippines’ broader global commitment to assist facilities that uphold public service, humanitarian aid, and peacekeeping efforts.
By providing tools that enhance efficiency, UPS Delbros underscores its role not only as a logistics provider but as a partner in nation-building — supporting organizations and institutions that serve the Filipino people
