FAST Logistics rolls out truckers’ programs amid economic difficulties

FAST Logistics Group, the Philippines’ leading third-party logistics (3PL) provider, is rolling out programs for truck owners and aspiring trucking entrepreneurs to help them build steady and sustainable income despite rising fuel costs.

The truckers’ program, specifically designed for Bacolod City and nearby areas in Negros province, will be unveiled during the ‘FAST Truckers’ Roadshow Bacolod’ on May 13.

The roadshow will introduce support programs aimed at helping truckers manage costs, grow their business, and secure more stable earnings.

During the event, FAST Solutions Experts will explain how truck owners can become part of FAST’s trucking network and access support programs such as passive earnings, guaranteed monthly income, fuel support, financing opportunities, and consistent trips while working with some of the country’s biggest companies.

The initiative comes at a time when truck owners and operators are facing higher fuel prices, tighter margins, and rising day-to-day operating costs that directly impact their profitability.

Among the programs offered by FAST is the dry lease program, which allows truck owners to earn a fixed monthly income without managing or spending on the truck’s daily operations.

Under this arrangement, truck owners lease their trucks to FAST, which then takes care of operations and expenses — including fuel, driver and helper salaries, toll fees, repairs, and other related costs.

This provides a more stable and hands-off income option, helping truck owners reduce their exposure to fluctuating fuel prices and operating expenses.

FAST also offers a lock-in program for truck owners who prefer to operate their own trucks. In this arrangement, accredited partners are assured of a fixed monthly income — even if their trucks complete fewer trips than expected during the month.

Partners who take on additional trips can earn beyond the guaranteed income, giving them more opportunities to maximize the use of their trucks.

To further ease the impact of rising fuel costs, FAST offers a fuel savings program where the company shoulders upfront fuel expenses and deducts them from billing after completed trips—helping truckers manage cash flow more effectively.

Members of the FAST trucking network may also access financing options, allowing them to acquire additional trucks and increase income opportunities even during challenging market conditions.

These programs complement other benefits available to FAST trucking partners, including consistent trips, flexibility to enroll multiple trucks from anywhere in the Philippines, and the opportunity to serve major companies through FAST’s nationwide logistics network.

FAST will also conduct a one-day accreditation during the roadshow.

“FAST believes truckers are vital partners in moving businesses and communities forward. As we expand our end-to-end logistics solutions in Bacolod, we are committed to opening more opportunities that help truck owners and aspiring entrepreneurs build stable and sustainable income,” said FAST CEO for Logistics Manuel L. Onrejas Jr.

“Through our support programs, we want to help truckers manage rising costs and grow their business with us as their ‘Big Brother,’” he added.

FAST has high demand for the following truck types – 10-wheeler truck, 6-wheeler truck, refrigerated truck (reefer van), AUVs, container truck, and flatbed truck.

Through initiatives like the Truckers’ Roadshow, FAST aims to equip truck owners and aspiring entrepreneurs with reliable income opportunities and direct access to support programs that can help them start or grow a sustainable trucking business despite ongoing cost pressures.
